There’s the beautiful scenery, incredible roads, and dream days on the bike… and then there’s everything happening behind the scenes. Route planning, logistics, weather, mechanical problems, tired legs, constant travel, and, of course, dealing with cyclists who all have very different ideas of what makes a “good day” on the bike.

We talk about the best parts of the job, the hardest parts, the riders who test your patience, the moments that make it all worthwhile, and what it’s like to essentially live out of a suitcase while making someone else’s cycling holiday happen.
