ALEXANDER ZVEREV IS THE US OPEN 2026 CHAMPION! 🏆 Zverev defeats Ben Shelton 6-3, 7-6, 5-7, 6-2 to win his second Grand Slam title and finally lift the trophy in New York.

Six years after his heartbreaking defeat in the 2020 US Open final, Zverev returned to Arthur Ashe Stadium and completed the job. After winning Roland Garros earlier this season, the German is now a TWO-TIME Grand Slam champion.

Zverev took control early against Shelton, winning the opening set before dominating the second-set tiebreak 7-2. Shelton refused to disappear, fighting back to take the third set 7-5 and giving the American crowd hope of an incredible comeback.

But Zverev responded like a champion.

He regained control in the fourth set, broke Shelton and closed out a 6-2 final set to become the 2026 US Open men's singles champion.
