The US has more than 50 million acres designated and protected for our national parks. You’ll find all sorts of wildlife and beauty within those boundaries and families flock to them year round. But there are some who believe these parks hold other things deep inside. There are secrets kept amongst those trees and waterfalls. There are some who believe in cryptids and the fae calling these parks home, others think there may be portals to other places, dimensions, that lie inside, waiting for some unsuspecting passerby to make contact. There are many people who happen upon something they just can’t explain while hiking the most desolate areas of our world – like these mysterious stairs in the woods. These steps stand tall, surrounded by nature, completely out of place, and look as though they lead to nowhere.

The people who work, day in and day out, within those parks have stories, and luckily for us, some of them turn to Reddit.
