Teaching Children to Heal

Teaching Children to Heal26 nov 20254 min

Episode 27. This is the first book to come out of our Mastermind Group. The second book is currently in development. Both children's books will be included in PDF format in The Mindshift Method Course. Don't miss the deadline!

The scientific principles of healing are fundamentally simple enough to teach a very young child, perhaps 3 years old. Why? Because this world is designed for that age to appreciate so many wonderful things. Being 5-6 years old is just the best age when under optimal conditions. For a thorough training on this from original researchers, do what I did and take the Science of Energy Healing course from the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.

The greatest value of the Healing Hug Technique is that you're allowing the child to program their own subconscious, empowering them to always know that they can change the way they feel.

How the Books Work

I was recently inspired by a dear friend to go ahead with my idea to create a children's book about healing. The idea is simple. When we relax our over-efforting, we let God's love flow through us and the energy does the work.

The problem as adults is that our subconscious is programmed to compete through every form of sports, entertainment, government, relationship and industry. Therefore, do this exercise with your child and release to Spirit in every breath any negativity that has been at the surface lately. Take your time with each step as you read the book to your child at night or do this in the playground with a group.

Healing Hug Technique

Get the children to pretend they are hugging a loved one until they feel the love in their body. Ask them to notice how it feels and describe it. Say it outloud.

The love in their arms and hands are emphasized for a while like a meditation. Be patient if they don't feel anything the first few times. You might have to wait for a moment when they really miss somebody and you witness them give an emotional hug - that's a great moment to invite them to notice how the love feels in their body.

Next, they open their arms and send their love different places, like to their tummy ache, the puppy dog, or their tired parents.

Drawing their imagination of how they visualize the love is an important part of them remembering this skill long-term. Creative visualization is a key component in long-term memory and we're trying to get them to remember love the rest of their lives here. We are attempting to plant love deep within the body so that they will never be without hope when thay face stress later on.
