From Romania to Grammy-Winning Producer: Sergiu Gherman

I first met Sergiu Gherman at an In The Studio With MJ event in Los Angeles a few years ago. As our friendship has grown over the years, I’ve wanted to sit down with him and hear his full story. We finally had the chance to do just that recently in LA, and I’m excited to share our conversation with you.

Sergiu’s journey from Romania to becoming a Grammy-winning producer is a remarkable story of talent, hard work, and following your passion. A lifelong Michael Jackson fan, Sergiu has built an impressive career working with artists including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Hozier, and many more.

I think you’ll really enjoy hearing his story, learning about the experiences that shaped his career, and discovering the influence Michael Jackson has had on his life and music.
