This week we go down a bit of an emotional rabbit hole, starting with a Mad Men clip about nostalgia. This leads to us reading some genuinely fascinating research on nostalgia; why it exists, what it does to our brains, and why it might actually be an evolutionary survival mechanism. We talk about looking back at old photos of our kids, why parenthood memories tend to get rosier over time, and whether millennials are uniquely nostalgic given everything we've lived through.
