It's Labor Day week and we are rewinding it back to our second listener stories episode: EP 159: Now That's What I Call Listener Stories Vol. 2

Ring the bell and tell your friends. We’ve got another ALL-LISTENER-STORIES episode! And since we’re taking a trip back through the Live, Laugh, Larceny archives, we’re bringing back one of our favorite collections of bizarre true crime stories, petty crimes, ridiculous criminals, and listener-submitted crimes.

But before we hear from our awesome listeners, we gotta do the show stuff. This week, Trevin encounters a cursed Chipotle salad that he leaves sitting on his desk for an entire weekend, while Amanda discovers that bringing Jell-O to a kid’s birthday party does NOT mean people are getting Jell-O shots.

Top 5 takes a closer look at the polygraph and lie detector test, including its bizarre history and some of the earliest attempts at figuring out whether someone was lying. Then Trevin counts down five of the most common—and most ridiculous—causes of selfie-related deaths, from guns and electrocution to driving, drowning, and falling.

Then, we get to the main event: three petty, bizarre, and completely listener-submitted stories.

Amanda tells the story of a disgruntled bakery employee who destroys cakes before quitting, including one cake that just happens to have been ordered by one of our own listeners.

Trevin investigates the mystery of a person who wiped their butt on a towel at a party, giving one listener the chance to play detective and figure out who committed the truly shitty crime.

And, of course, we’ve got another round of funny true crime, petty criminals, strange crimes, and the weirdest stories our listeners could dig up.
