MAGNET (Instant) Classics Podcast Episode 19: The Making Of Cashier's "The Weight"

<p>For this edition of the (Instant) Classics series, MAGNET’s Hobart Rowland teamed up with <em>How Did I Get Here?</em> podcast host Johnny Goudie for a special South by Southwest chat in Austin with Kylie Gaspard and Jo Perillo of fast-rising indie phenoms Cashier. Slinking out of Lafayette, La., three years ago, they’ve already raised plenty of eyebrows with their grunge-inspired take on emo and shoegaze. Now touring behind their debut EP, <em>The Weight</em>, Cashier played no less than 16 shows at last week’s SXSW. They managed to stay upright long enough for this mid-conference chat.</p>
