I followed a YouTube tutorial, answered a few questions online, and within about 12 hours earned my first $130 in affiliate commissions. At the time, I thought I had discovered the easiest business model in the world.</p><p><br></p><p>Over the years, I promoted everything from web hosting and online courses to security cameras, soundbars, kitchen products, cameras, and everyday household products. Some content I created seven or eight years ago still generates affiliate commissions today.</p><p><br></p><p>So why did I stop making affiliate marketing my primary strategy?</p><p><br></p><p>In this video, I&#39;ll explain the biggest problem with affiliate marketing: you can do all the work to attract and convert the customer, only to hand that customer over to someone else&#39;s business.
