From Artist to Author: Woody Woodward & Auveriah Ascension - Nonsense Podcast S5E25

This episode of the Nonsense Podcast is a little different as CeeJay sits down with artist and author Woody Woodward for a conversation about art, creativity, storytelling, and building a world of his own.

Woody takes us through how he first discovered his love for art, the influence his grandfather had on him, his journey into fantasy art, and how his experiences and travels helped shape the world behind his upcoming book, Auveriah Ascension.

The conversation also gets into the changing landscape of creativity, AI and art, creating for the internet, and the difference between chasing attention and actually building something you're proud of. Woody and CeeJay also dive into movies, Spider-Man, The Lord of the Rings, and why adapting a book to a movie can never be a perfect one-to-one translation.

It's a conversation about where ideas come from, how creative worlds are built, and what happens when an artist decides to become an author — with plenty of Nonsense along the way.
