Hours later, Paul, found himself disoriented, in a place he had never been. Meanwhile from a short distance, he could hear his kidnappers on the phone, negotiating with his grandfather, J. Paul Getty Sr. In 1951, over 20 years prior, Getty had been labeled the richest man in the world by Forbes Magazine.
