Picture an endless stretch of highway surrounded by thick forests where there's no cell service, and towns are hours apart. Back in July 2019, that quiet part of the Alaska Highway in Canada turned upside down when a young couple on a road trip were found shot in a ditch.
Before anyone even knew what was happening, it turned into a massive cross-country crime spree and a frantic nationwide search to track down the killers.
