Trojans could get Jahkeem Stewart back for Saturday's matchup with Louisiana

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham, RJ Abeytia and Makena Arteaga are back in studio talking about USC getting its first shutout of the season, blanking Matt Entz's Fresno State squad 39-0 Friday night in the Coliseum. They also discuss what has been going on within the program this week as they get ready for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, with the possibility of defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart getting on the field for the first time this season. The Trojans win over the Bulldogs was much cleaner than the opening effort against the Spartans, and the crew talks about what they liked and where they would like to see some improvement. Jayden Maiava was spectacular with only two incompletions, two freshmen wide receivers went over 100 yards receiving and of course Gary Patterson got his first shutout as USC's defensive coordinator. However, the running game was hit and miss against that Fresno State defensive front and special teams units had a couple of penalties and sent only 10 men out on a PAT attempt. This week we heard from Lincoln Riley and several freshmen that talked about getting their first action on the college stage.
