Phoenix Rising Takes 4 Points Out Of 6 Amid Fan Protest Against Bobby Dulle and Brandon McCarthy

Things are never short of drama at Phoenix Rising FC.

After struggling for much of the season, Rising picked up four points out of six against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Sacramento Republic, with Ihsan Sacko hitting form once again to help keep Pa-Modou Kah’s side within touching distance of the USL Championship playoffs. Now, with Juan David Torres rumored to be joining the club, how will they fare against Indy Eleven this weekend?

Yet while some progress has been made on the field, there’s still discontent off it. Before and during the game against Colorado Springs, supporters group Los Bandidos held up banners calling for club president Bobby Dulle and sporting director Brandon McCarthy to go. The group also maintained a silent protest during the first half.
