<p>She found the first lump at 21, as a second-year medical student. Five years later, a new cancer was diagnosed on the other side. Cancer doesn't discriminate. Not even against doctors.</p><p>Dr Aiesha Asmadi is a medical fitness doctor with a background in sports medicine and a two-time breast cancer survivor from Kuala Lumpur. She joins Dr Selina Chew to talk about the oncologist who laughed at her egg-freezing question, the "time bomb" warning that led to her second surgery, and the full-blown PTSD that hit after she broke a stage four diagnosis to a 20-year-old patient.</p><p>She rebuilt herself through strength training, placed second on the world stage at NABBA Universe in England, and now prescribes exercise like medicine for patients, athletes and cancer survivors. Her message: surviving isn't the goal.
