Don't Quit

The church in Smyrna was suffering under 3 weights - poverty, slander, and imprisonment that lead some to death. Although most of us have not experienced persecution on this level, we have the same enemy that tries to use the weights of this world to crush us and the temptation to give up is real. This morning we learn from the letter to the church in Smyrna how to rise above the weight of world when following Jesus get's hard. So much is at stake and we must continue to press on. Don't quit!
