This week, we look at Peter’s encounter with Cornelius and the moment God confronted boundaries Peter had confused with faithfulness. Our political, national, cultural, religious, family, and social identities can begin shaping whom we trust, whom we fear, and how we see other people.

Every group loyalty must remain beneath the authority of Jesus. When we allow our group to interpret Jesus instead of allowing Jesus to correct our group, belonging has become allegiance.
