439 | A Productive Day Isn't Always a Faithful One
You got a lot done yesterday.
Answered the emails. Finished the project. Made dinner. Returned the call. Maybe even got the workout in.
You crawled into bed thinking, That was a pretty productive day, if I do say so myself.
But was it faithful?
Because those aren’t necessarily the same thing.
You can have an incredibly productive day AND yet completely miss what God entrusted to you in it.
And you can have a day that looks terribly unproductive on paper—a conversation that took longer than expected, an interruption you didn’t plan for, a needed hour of rest—and be incredibly faithful.
That’s the conversation we’re having this week on the REDEEM Her Time Podcast.
Because I think we’ve gotten stewardship a little wrong.
Sometimes we take all the productivity advice we’ve learned, add a Bible verse, pray over our planner...and call it Christian time stewardship.
But stewardship has a completely different starting point:
Productivity starts with my agenda. Stewardship starts with His assignment.
