Genesis 12:1-9
God's Call and Promises
The Command: God tells Abram to leave his country, his relatives, and his father's house to go to a land that God will show him.
The Promises: God promises to make Abram into a great nation, bless him, make his name famous, and bless or curse others based on how they treat him.
The Ultimate Purpose: God declares that through Abram, "all peoples on earth will be blessed"
