James Meyers, III discusses the question of salvation regarding those who do not believe in the orthodox Christian faith, and how early Christians, particularly Athanasius, defended the true orthodox faith at his own peril. In a relativistic age, we are prone to compromise what is never to be compromised, namely, the true Jesus, which is detrimental, not only to orthodoxy, but the eternal fate of fallen men and women. This is a sober reminder that our faith is not our own, but a gift of God which is not to be wielded as if it were our own.
