Episode 65 : The Hollow Earth

In this discussion, we explored the fascinating idea of the Hollow Earth theory and why humans have been drawn to stories about hidden worlds beneath the Earth's surface. We talked about Operation Highjump, ancient cultural beliefs about underworlds, movies such as Ice Age 3, The Lord of the Rings, and Journey to the Center of the Earth, and how science has helped us understand the Earth's internal structure.

We also discussed a broader question: why do people become curious about ideas that challenge established scientific explanations? The conversation explored the relationship between curiosity, mythology, storytelling, scientific exploration, and evidence.
