The Flood of Waters

The Flood of Waters2 aug45 min

The world is utterly broken. People are vile, wicked, and corrupt. Sin is rampant, accepted, and encouraged. Everything seems so far gone from what God made it to be in the beginning at Creation. Would you agree? It was the same before the flood in Genesis. But just when all hope seemed lost, a man by the name of Noah stood out. While everyone else rejected God, Noah walked with God by faith. He knew God, loved God, and lived his life in such a way that was uncommon from the rest of the world. He was blameless among the guilty and righteous among the unrighteous. Ultimately, his story helps point us to Jesus, the Righteous One, by whom many will ultimately be made righteous. And as we open God’s Word together on Sunday looking to Genesis 6:1-7:24, we’re going to consider how we too can walk faithfully for Christ, pointing others to him, in the midst of a dark and fallen world.
