Goddess of Falling Stars | Greek Mythology Sleep Story
In tonight’s mythology-inspired bedtime story, you have angered the gods and thus been turned away from every known harbor. Weary, you arrive on the shores of a floating island, as mysterious as it is welcoming. Something about the island is familiar to you, but you do not yet understand why. As you search for a safe place to rest, the island’s ecology begins to communicate with you, telling the story of how it came to be. In time, it’s revealed that the island is not a lifeless landmass, but the new form of a primordial goddess: one with whom you share a deep connection.
This story contains built-in meditation and relaxation cues. The inspiration comes from the mythology of the goddesses Leto and Asteria, who later metamorphosed into the island of Delos.
