Podcast 166 - Averting climate catastrophe

The Paris Agreement of 2015 committed its signatories to limiting the rise of global warming to within 2 degrees centigrade with the main industrialised polluters curbing their emissions and helping fund the poorer countries. These targets have not been met and the momentum has gone into reverse. Capitalism seems unable to put in the necessary measures to avert crisis. This article examines options left open to avert a catastrophe.
