In this episode, Blaque sits down with VTJ Masakona for an honest conversation about conflict, pressure and the different ways husbands respond when marriage gets difficult. They unpack the different kinds of husbands that can emerge under pressure: the husband driven by ego, the husband who needs to be needed, and the husband driven by fear. What looks like love, leadership or sacrifice on the surface can sometimes be rooted in something much deeper.

VTJ and Blaque talk about what happens when a husband tries to be everything for his wife, why some men struggle to admit they no longer have the capacity to show up the way they once did, and how the need to be needed can become part of a man’s identity.

They also get into the harder side of conflict: silence, emotional capacity, difficult conversations and the importance of choosing the right language when emotions are high.
