The Board Drill’s Bold Takes for 2026

We prepared for this one for about three minutes, which is roughly the correct amount of preparation for bold takes. The only rule was that picking the favorite does not count. Matt has UTRGV making a run in year two of the program and multiple first time conference champions across the FBS. Kyle takes the field against the Dakotas and Montana in the FCS, a bet that has only paid off twice since 2011, and puts first year FBS North Dakota State in the playoff as the group of five representative. The NFL section is where it gets uncomfortable, since Matt is a Dolphins fan picking Buffalo. Underneath all of it is the take we actually believe: football is back Thursday, and if you are complaining about what is on TV, you are not a football fan.
