William Stuart and American Afterlife

William Stuart, the executive producer of The Rock and the director of American Afterlife, joins Sara F. Hathaway on The Changing Earth Podcast. American Afterlife hit number one in fiction on Apple Podcasts. Scarlett Estevez voices Cielo, a fifteen-year-old searching for her mother in a flooded Oregon city after a 9.2 Cascadia earthquake. The show is adapted from Pedro Hoffmeister's novel. Stuart talks about shooting on Alcatraz, meeting Sean Connery, building a movie-level soundscape in a Glendale booth, and why a fifty-year film producer made a six-episode audio drama.
