Corn stocks came in much higher than trade estimates anticipated, causing fund liquidation that spilled over into the soybeans and wheat futures.

Wheat production was raised slightly, but the report was overall neutral for wheat and soybeans.

Cattle futures ended the day higher, with expectations that packers need more cattle to make up for last week's interrupted kill.
