The LL-37 Masterclass | A Research Guide (2026)

LL-37 is the peptide I think everyone should have on hand and almost nobody should be taking every day.

It's the only cathelicidin in the human body. That's an antimicrobial peptide your immune system makes to punch holes in bacteria, break up biofilms, and neutralize endotoxins. In this masterclass I walk through how it works. I cover why your vitamin D level decides whether your body can even make it. Then the specific situations where I reach for it. Stubborn sinus infections, bacterial acne, gut biofilms, suspected mold, and high-exposure travel windows.

I also cover who needs to stay away from it. Active autoimmune flares, rosacea, certain cancers, and mast cell issues can all go the wrong direction with LL-37.

Then dosing. I break down why I use 100 to 150mcg instead of the 2mg some people push. I go over how long a cycle should run and why maintenance dosing makes no sense. And I show how I sequence it with Thymosin Alpha 1, BPC-157, and TB-500.

One honest note. Almost all of the LL-37 data is preclinical or anecdotal. The only human trial is topical, and the lower doses beat the higher ones.

If you've ever wondered whether LL-37 belongs in your protocol, this one answers it.

For research and entertainment purposes only.
