Talarico actually IS doing the work with Texas' black voters

<p>Whether Donald Trump uses his Thursday night address to relitigate Georgia&#39;s 2020 election was yet to be seen as of the Tuesday prior, but what&#39;s apparent aside from that is this: </p><p>Democrats seem to know how to snatch &quot;defeat&quot; from the jaws of &quot;victory&quot; all too often the last decade-plus. </p><p>Between the hand-wringing by centrists like James Carville and the &quot;vote is in play&quot; tease Bill Maher to &quot;sour grapes&quot; supporters of Rep. Jasmine Crockett in Texas, there are factions forgetting their own mantra: &quot;vote blue, no matter who&quot; when a progressive wins a primary. </p><p>Well James Talarico isn&#39;t apologizing for defeating Crockett (nor should he), but he Is <a href="https://www.texastribune.org/2026/07/20/texas-james-talarico-black-voters-town-hall-houston-2026-senate/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer"><em><strong>&quot;doing the work&quot;</strong></em></a> to show black voters in Texas his message should appeal to them. </p>
