The Shadow - "The Tomb of Terror" (Old Time Radio)

The Shadow presents “The Tomb of Terror,” originally broadcast June 19, 1938, and commonly cataloged as episode 125. In this Orson Welles-era production, Margot Stevenson co-stars as Margot Lane.

At the City Museum, an ancient Egyptian tomb is readied for public display when a series of deaths seems to confirm the legend of a deadly curse. Lamont Cranston and Margot investigate a case of archaeology, scientific menace, and mounting fear beneath the museum’s imposing exhibit.

The Shadow presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
