The Takeout with Major Garrett, 10/12/26

Major starts the show with Nikole Killion, who’s in Youngstown, Ohio following the President as he rallies with Sen. Jon Husted. Nikole spoke with his Democratic opponent, Sherrod Brown, about the state of the race. Robert Costa joins to discuss his interview with Speaker Mike Johnson and his confidence that Republicans will maintain the House. Major interviews Rep. John James (R-OH) about his gubernatorial run against Jocelyn Benson, the democrat who is leading in the polls. Plus, Nicole Sganga details the Department of Justice’s search into Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home and what they’re looking to find, as we’re 22 days away from the midterm elections. All that and more, right here at The Takeout.
