Episode 75. Squiggly Beasts - Part 2

Hello Scummers!

It’s Orktober, which means we’re kicking off our second annual celebration of all things green, brutal, and questionably hygienic. All month long, we’re dedicating ourselves to the greenskins, their bizarre biology, and the important cultural contributions they’ve made to the galaxy. Mostly violence, but still.

We’re back for our second episode on Squigs, because one episode wasn’t enough to unpack the mysteries of these little balls of teeth, rage, and their terrifying evolutionary choices.

Things get a little philosophical this time around. What is a Squig? Where does the Squig end and the Ork begin? Can a creature that spends its life biting things truly understand the meaning of existence? And, more importantly, why have we spent this much time contemplating the inner lives of something that would happily eat our faces?

Spamuel, naturally, attempts to elevate the discussion into a profound examination of Squig consciousness, only to be bullied relentlessly by a Squig parrot wearing two eyepatches and its pirate companion. Nobody knows why it needs two. Nobody dares ask. The Squig has made its position clear, and Spamuel has been reduced to a philosophical chew toy.

So grab your favourite fungus brew, brace yourself for some deeply unnecessary metaphysics, and join us as we dive headfirst into the wonderful world of Squigs.

It’s Orktober, Scummers. Things are about to get very green, very weird, and considerably more bitey.

If you have questions, complaints, corrections or suggestions, email us at Underhivelorekeepers@gmail.com.

Want to support the show? https://linktr.ee/underhivelorekeepers
