TJPW Rewind - Vol. 4: HYPE! 2 ~If We Could Meet in a Dream~

It’s time to get hype again! In honor of HYPE! 4 airing today, we travel back to April 2024 to cover Hyper Misao’s second produce show, HYPE! 2 ~If We Could Meet in a Dream~. This time Raku takes center stage for a journey through dreams featuring magical heroes, ganguro gals, a suspicious host club, heavy metal, a talking battle fairy and one very intimidating final obstacle. We break down the full production, how Misao evolved HYPE! from a wrestling show into something closer to live theater, the deeper story behind Raku and Re:, the real-life circumstances that made Raku’s role even more fitting, and why Aja Kong is the perfect opponent to bring the entire story home.
