Why You Keep Fighting What You're Feeling
What do you do when an emotion shows up that you really don’t want to feel? Maybe anxiety hits, and your first thought is, “Not this again.” Maybe you’re angry, sad, disappointed, or overwhelmed and immediately start trying to get yourself out of it. But what if the emotion itself isn’t the biggest problem and the fight you’re having with it is?
In this episode, I'm talking about why we can become afraid of our own emotions, the extra layer of shame or fear we sometimes attach to them, and what it can look like to acknowledge what you’re feeling without assuming it means something is wrong with you or with your faith.
Rooting for you,
Jessica
