Ting Lim turns up straight from the airport, suitcase in hand, joking that the housing crisis has her sleeping on podcasts between gigs. Talking her through it: Lady Legume, a well-travelled legume who has spent years hiding among the common nuts in disguise; Kevin Plonk, president of the Wet Dog 40 club, whose sole method for determining the wettest dog is squeezing it like a sponge; and Mr Colpita, a gay wizard who married a stiff, salty man before turning him into a children's toy out of frustration at his lack of flexibility.
