In this episode of You Have Been Watching, host Robert Turnbull is joined by a new addition to our sitcom family; Emma Arneil. After a little chat about Emma’s comedy history, they light up a metaphorical cigarette to chat about 2004-2005’s The Smoking Room.

With a stacked cast, including Robert Webb, Paula Wilcox and Selina Griffiths and created and written by Brain Dooley, this BAFTA winning series, set entirely in the basement smoking room of an unspecified office building, revolves around the daily events of the staff who use the smoking room to evade the drudgery of work, general life and sometimes, each other.
