From preparing for the flights and worrying about how he would handle the disruption in routine, to the wedding itself and the moments that actually went better than we expected, this trip reminded us that sometimes our biggest fears don’t happen the way we imagine. Bridger experienced several days of intense distress, aggression, and behavioral challenges, leaving us trying to figure out what was causing the sudden change. Was it the disruption from travel? His GI issues? Medication? Or simply the aftermath of a huge change in routine?
