What makes a day at work truly worth the time we give it?

After a recent full-day workshop, a VP described it as the best day his team had spent together. That comment stayed with me—not because the day was especially productive or efficient, but because of what it suggested about how we measure the time we spend at work.

In this episode, I explore the responsibility leaders carry when asking for other people’s time, why our calendars reveal more about our priorities than our stated intentions, and how trust and thoughtful design can create the conditions for meaningful work.

Because a full calendar can tell us where our time went. The more important question is whether it was worth going there.
