This week we sit down with Christina Lupo of Lupo Therapeutics for a great conversation about her career journey, the experiences that led her into massage therapy, and how her passion for helping others ultimately became the foundation for the work she does today.

Christina takes us through her journey and shares how her career developed, the lessons she has learned along the way, and what eventually led her to Lupo Therapeutics. We talk about massage therapy as much more than simply relaxation and explore some of its therapeutic benefits, including helping with muscle tension and soreness, mobility, recovery, stress reduction, and overall physical well being.

We also discuss the importance of understanding the body, listening to clients, and recognizing that every person who walks through the door may have different needs. Christina shares her perspective on the role massage therapy can play alongside other approaches to health, wellness, movement, and recovery.

But, as always, this episode is about much more than someone’s profession.

We talk about Christina’s life and career journey, the decisions and experiences that helped shape her, the challenges that come with building something of your own, and what it means to create a career centered around helping people.

It is another great conversation about how the road to where we end up is rarely a straight one, and how our experiences, opportunities, challenges, and the people we meet along the way can ultimately lead us exactly where we are supposed to be.
