Ep 232 // When Everything Feels Important: How to Know What Deserves Your Attention
A Biblical Way to Stop Living Pulled in Every Direction
When everything feels important, it can feel impossible to know where to put your attention.
As a working Christian mom, you may not actually need to learn how to do more. You may need to learn how to discern what deserves your attention right now—and be okay with letting something else wait.
Because sometimes we know exactly what needs our attention. The harder part is giving ourselves permission to focus on that one thing without feeling guilty about everything we're not doing.
In this episode of the Faith Led Working Moms Podcast, we're talking about biblical priorities, time management, mental overload, and the pressure to give everything our attention at once.
We'll look at Martha and Mary in Luke 10 and what Jesus' response to Martha teaches us about being worried and distracted by many things. You'll be encouraged to recognize that not everything important needs your attention right now—and that living within the limits God has given you isn't a failure.
In This Episode, You'll Discover:
Why feeling overwhelmed isn't always about having too much to do
Why important things don't always need your attention right now
How mental overload can keep you from being fully present
Why saying “not right now” to something good can be a wise choice
What the story of Martha and Mary teaches us about distraction and discernment
