Have you ever heard a phrase so many times that you just assumed it was in the Bible? 🙋‍♀️ SAME.

In today’s episode, Kaleb and I are breaking down some of the most common sayings Christians repeat that either aren’t actually in Scripture or are often taken wayyy out of context. We’re talking about everything from “God won’t give you more than you can handle” and “everything happens for a reason” to soulmates, money, Halloween, taking God’s name in vain, and more.

We are definitely NOT claiming to be biblical scholars, and we’re totally open to being corrected, but our heart behind this conversation is to encourage all of us to actually know what the Word of God says instead of building our theology around something we heard on Instagram, from a friend, or even growing up in church.
