You Don’t Need a New Life Plan.
I was driving home from the school run when it hit me: the life I wanted six or seven years ago is the life I’m living now.
Back then, I wanted a loving relationship, a home that felt right for Lyla and me, and a life where I felt healthy and happy. I didn’t know how I would get there. I was impatient, and sometimes I didn’t believe it was possible.
Today, Ed and I live together in the house we bought. Lyla is at the school I hoped she would attend. I feel healthier, and the habits I once struggled to keep up have become part of my everyday life. I nearly missed all of that because I was busy thinking about what I still needed to do.
In this episode, I talk about:
• Why you can be getting on with life and still feel lost after a breakup
• The difference between having a vision and needing every step planned out
• Why honesty about what you want matters before you set another goal
• How one small choice can move you towards a life that feels like yours
You don’t have to work out your whole future today. Start by asking what you want your life to feel like, then choose one honest next step.
“Feel like you’re getting through the days but still don’t know what you want next? In my free What Now? workshop, you’ll take a proper look at where you are, work out which part of your life needs your attention, and leave with one clear step you can take this week. You can watch the replay in your own time and use the workbook as you go.”
