This week, we deconstruct the Spokane River "drying up", the push to change regulations on the Post Falls Dam, and Idaho doctors gathering to warn about the health risks of "climate", wildfire smoke, heat, drought, and...nuclear holocaust. We also examine Idaho's housing affordability problem, the role of zoning and regulation in limiting housing supply, and the political battle over who should be allowed to own homes. In the second half, we dig into ICE enforcement in Post Falls, the growing bureaucratic burden on workers and small businesses, the sudden resignation of three Panhandle Health executives, and the story of a Clark Fork coffee shop shut down after running afoul of health regulations. Along the way, we discuss property taxes, government bureaucracy, digital money, and the recurring and ultimate NO ID question: Are our problems actually being solved by government, or are we just creating more government to deal with the problems government created?
