This week on Old Mates New Laughs, we're taking a trip back to Third Earth as we celebrate one of the defining cartoons of the 1980s.

We chat about our first memories of watching ThunderCats, our favourite heroes, villains and episodes, the unforgettable weapons and gadgets, and why the series has remained so popular more than forty years after it first aired.

We'll also discuss the 2011 reboot, whether it's time for another revival, and end with a bit of fun by casting our dream live-action ThunderCats movie.
