Joanne likes a flashy helmet but won't let good looks settle the riding-shoe question. Her Armory checks crush resistance via heel, toe and ankle reinforcement before sorting low adventure boots from sport-bike footwear. More money can buy longer life without much more protection while Brian's BOA boots owe their place in the closet to deep clearance.
