STFC BOMBSHELL: Leadership Shakeup, Firings & Cam Stewart's Blog Explained!

Major changes are happening behind the scenes at Star Trek Fleet Command, and tonight we're filling in the blanks! Scopely SVP Cam Stewart has released a new blog discussing player feedback, communication, and the future of STFC, but what wasn't said may be even more important than what was. DJz and Griffin break down the blog and reveal additional details about leadership departures, engineering and game design accountability, Bek's transition, the new community management team, and the arrival of a new general manager. We also discuss Cam's acknowledgment that progress is behind expectations, the troubled Seasons rollout, ongoing technical failures, and why rebuilding player trust requires more than another carefully worded announcement.

But first, we're kicking off the 2026 Christmas Angel Fund with an ambitious $100,000 goal benefiting Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt! Griffin announces a special gift for our top fundraising contributor, and we reflect on the incredible impact this community has made for children and families over the past three years. Then it's straight into the hard questions: Is Scopely finally addressing the root causes of STFC's problems? Will new leadership deliver real results? And what does all of this mean for the future of the game? Join Talking Trek for breaking news, behind-the-scenes context, passionate community discussion, and a few laughs along the way. LLAP! 🖖
