The Week That Was: Royal Bullshit, Bieber Red Flags & The Pilates Police

<p>This week Kate and Tansy are tackling the big issues: the monarchy, the Biebers, Pilates etiquette and whether spending too long in a spa will, in Tansy’s words, “boil your bag.”</p><p>They kick off with Florence Pugh’s <em>East of Eden</em>, which looks beautiful, devastating and exactly like the kind of television you watch once, sob through, call a masterpiece and then never emotionally recover enough to watch again.</p><p>Then Harry and Meghan are back in the UK, Charles has apparently sent out the royal equivalent of a “just so we’re clear” email, and Kate and Tansy attempt to understand what exactly constitutes a “working royal.” Spoiler: shaking hands apparently gives you calluses.</p><p>Next, Justin and Hailey Bieber answer a series of seemingly innocent questions for W Magazine and accidentally provide enough material for an entire couples therapy session. Favourite movie? Hailey says <em>The Grinch</em>. Justin says <em>The Break-Up</em>. Favourite artist? Neither picks the other. Favourite way to relax? Finally, agreement: the spa. Which leads to some unsolicited medical commentary from Tansy that nobody asked for.</p><p>Then we meet the <strong>Pilates Police</strong> - because apparently leaving a reformer class seven minutes early is now a matter of public concern. Kate and Tansy discuss why other people’s schedules, emergencies, hamstrings and IBS are, generally speaking, none of your fucking business.</p><p>And finally, Kate makes Channel Seven news after sharing her thoughts on increasingly controlling wedding rules, only to discover she’s been branded a “controlling woman” who “slams yucky and weird Aussie weddings.”</p><p>Chicken.
