Neal Boortz joins The Morning XTRA with Tug and Los 10-14-26

Neal Boortz joins Tug and Los for a wide-ranging and hilarious conversation covering politics, personal responsibility, crime, college football, race, and plenty of classic Boortz humor. Boortz argues that people who run from police and create dangerous situations should face tougher penalties, while joking about the familiar “I can’t breathe” and “I’m pregnant” claims during arrests. He also explains his libertarian view that prostitution should be legalized.

Boortz and the crew discuss the decline of Hooters, Kimberly Guilfoyle’s diplomatic controversy, political corruption and why he remains skeptical of politicians. The conversation turns to personal responsibility and the differences between conservative and liberal approaches to government and healthcare.

The interview also touches on Boortz’s memories of racial segregation at Texas A&M, college football and the changing landscape of NIL, Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed, and coaches holding highly paid players accountable. The conversation wraps with Boortz sharing stories about George Jones, his favorite country music, Idiocracy, and his fascination with the Netflix documentary about the infamous “Poop Cruise.”
