Short Circuit (1986)

The boys are coming to you from Astoria, Oregon with a review of 1986’s Short Circuit from INSIDE of Stephanie’s house!  This is a fun one where we tackle the important questions.  Is Johnny Five still one of the most lovable movie robots ever created? How do the practical effects somehow still look this good nearly 40 years later? Is Ally Sheedy secretly doing all the heavy lifting? How did Steve Guttenberg end up feeling like a supporting character? And what do we even begin to do with Fisher Stevens’ performance through a modern-day lens?  Grab some input.  LET’S GO!
